This tutorial will show you how to set up multiple inboxes for your email accounts in Evolution.
First you have to make a new folder for your account (in my case GMail Inbox). Then go to Edit – Message Filters. Show filters for mail needs to be set to Incoming and then click Add.
On the Edit Rule page set up the rule as per the screenshot below replacing GMail Inbox and [email protected] with your own details.
Once completed your emails will be filtered into their respective inboxes.

Greetings I located your site by mistake when i was searching Live search for this concern, I must say your website is really useful I also love the layout, it is cool!
Evolution can work on either Windows or Linux clients whereas Outlook is Windows only. You also have to pay for licences with Outlook. Evolution is open source (ie free) so you have no such issues. Personally I find things easier to accomplish with Evolution, such as backups.
Evolution sounds good and all but why use this over Outlook?
