I bought a laptop off EBAY which turned out to have counterfeit Windows 7 on it. So naturally Microsoft won’t upgrade it to Windows 10. I understand that and Windows 7 isn’t all that bad, I’m actually happy with it. But Microsoft is starting to harass me about buying a $199.95 software for Windows 7 (Which I already have), not even offering Windows 10. They are becoming quite obnoxious about it, disabling updates, slowing down my computer, making some functions on Windows not work at all. I’m not guilty, I bought the computer third hand. If they were smart, they’d offer Windows 10 at a discount to people like me, but being a big rich company, they’d rather be nasty than nice. So I’m looking forward to when they make my computer unusable. Basically, all I use that computer for is reading Ebooks and some light internet use. Would it work well enough with Android or Linux OS for my purposes? Thank you.
